The popular Wink home automation controller suffered a setback this past weekend with a complete service outage that impacted all Wink users for an extended period on April 18th according to the Wink Web Site release. Additionally Wink Hub sales have been halted for the time being. Most Wink hubs are reportedly back online but those that are still not working will need to be sent in for replacement. The company web site indicates the issue was caused by a misconfiguration of a security measure and that sales should resume in about a week’s time. Discuss the Hub Service Interruption here.
